Job Description – Sales Leader
REPORTS TO: Visionary (CEO) CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

The Sales Leader is responsible for leading the Sales Team to achieve annual Sales Goals, targeted Gross Profit % and uphold our Core Values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Own and be accountable for the Sales Performance at our company
- Lead the Sales Team to achieve annual Sales Goal, targeted Gross Profit % and Performance Metrics.
- Develop and implement the Carow Sales Strategy.
- Lead, Manage and Hold Accountable (LMA) sales team members.
- Represent the Sales function on our Leadership Team and collaborate across departments as needed.
- Develop a high-performing sales team.
- Recruit, hire and manage onboarding of new Sales Team members.
- Develop, document, implement, update, and manage the training of sales processes and work instructions.
- Conduct customer visits with sales representatives to evaluate performance and customer relationships.
- Develop Sales Channels as needed according to strategic plans.
- Collaborate with Marketing to leverage strategies, initiatives, and implementations.
- Create Sales Forecasts, Budgets and Travel Plans as needed for company planning
Education and Experience: To excel in this role, you should have:
- Minimum of 3 years of Sales Leadership experience in a B2B environment:
- With a focus on selling product packaging, chemical ingredients, or consumable industrial supplies to customers where prospecting and relationships are critical to success;
- Lead, Manage, Hold Accountable, Hire and Fire a high performing sales team;
- Creating Strategies, Budgets, Forecasts
- Cross-functional collaboration to solve problems across a company
- A proven track record of consistently leading a sales team to achieve annual Sales Goals, target Gross Profit % and uphold company Core Values.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and technology platforms that drive efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree desired. Additional B2B Sales Training is a plus.
