Job Description –Account Executive (SAE)
We are searching for a highly motivated and results-oriented Account Executive (AE) to join our growing sales team. The AE will play a crucial role in driving new business acquisition and expanding existing accounts. This individual will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through closing deals and onboarding new clients. This includes conducting outbound sales campaigns, networking, attending trade shows, and utilizing consultative selling techniques to address the unique needs of each customer. The AE will also collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, deliver compelling presentations, and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
This role requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. While not exclusively door-to-door, this position involves direct customer interaction, and comfort with face-to-face communication is essential. The compensation package is designed to reward high performance, with adjustments provided during the initial ramp-up period.
Key Responsibilities
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas.
• Prospect and generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, networking, and attending industry events.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline with larger field service organizations.
• Qualify leads and identify potential opportunities.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and challenges.
• Develop tailored proposals and presentations that address client pain points.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations and support) to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation for new clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Serve as a key representative of Nuvo Solutions at trade shows and industry events across the US, including booth setup, tear-down, and on-the-ground logistics coordination ensuring the success of our presence.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners that can provide a flow of new business.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Nuvo's services.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM (Zoho).
What you should have (Ideal Candidate Requirements)
Non-negotiable qualifications
• 2-5 years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably in technology or field service.
• Proven ability and willingness to successfully cold call and find new prospects.
• Experience managing a full sales cycle, with demonstrated success around outbound prospecting
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and attend trade shows and industry events as necessary.
• Proficiency in using CRM software (Zoho preferred).
Preferred qualifications
• Experience successfully selling mobile phones, wireless plans, mobile device management (MDM) software, or other mobile solutions to commercial organizations.
• Experience selling SaaS or cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple streams and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Existing relationships within the pest control, HVAC, fire protection, or other relevant field service industries
• Proficiency in Google Drive and Suite of products
